For the vast majority of geostationary satellites currently in orbit, station keeping activities including orbit determination and maneuver planning execution are ground-directed dependent on availability ground-based satellite control personnel facilities. However, a requirement linked to autonomy survivability cases interrupted ground support is often one stipulated provisions platform design. It especially important for military-purposed remain within its designated orbital window, order provide reliable uninterrupted telecommunications services, absence resources due warfare or other disasters. In this paper we investigate factors affecting robustness satellite’s terms maximum duration window can be maintained without intervention.
